True Happiness
"Wake up!"
My friend told me to get up, it was probably 5:00 in the morning. We were on a 3 day vacation somewhere in the Northern part of Catanduanes, Philippines in Puraran Beach Resort. We were going to the beach, renting a surfboard, and gonna try our hand at surfing.
Passing by, I was so fascinated by walking on the creamy golden sand that I remember myself years ago as I lived in the province, feeling the same vibe all over again. I used to live there for two decades, but now I just visit for a short duration.
As the morning wind blows towards me, listening to the waves, all the natural sounds from nature wash over me. What's new this time is that I get a chance to watch the surfers.
As I watch, I find it amusing when I see them riding the waves, stepping on that narrow board and balancing themselves so well. It seems easy but it’s very difficult for a beginner like me.
I'm pretty excited because this will be my first time and I’m very excited to learn new things, even though I expected what would eventually happen. I fell many times, but still enjoyed the experience, and that's okay.
It doesn't matter if I fall often as long as I learn something from each fall and then correct it, getting better each time I try.
What really matters is that I enjoy every bit of it, and that moment that makes me laugh and smile as if the world just comes alive in front of me.

It's good to reminisce; go back to yesterday, as it will wrap you in happiness as you relive your best memories.
When you catch a glimpse of the wall trying to look at the photo and say ``Wow, what a wonderful picture!" You suddenly smile at it, as if something has awakened your sleeping soul.
Things will come to an end, but the memory will live on. Even if ten, fifteen or many more years have passed, you will always think of those precious moments that happened in your life. You will treasure and cherish them because they are some of the best things that will only happen once or twice in a lifetime. This experience is irreplaceable by any amount of money. Yes, it's true that money is necessary, and without it, you can't meet your basic obligations. You can create a seemingly comfortable life by buying everything that you desire. However, money can't bring you long-term happiness. In a bad situation, if you lose everything you have, it can make you feel restless, helpless, lost, or depressed.
All things will eventually end… so you don't have to look for more to make yourself feel more content or fulfilled.
Everything around you or within you, even the simple things or events in your life, can bring you joy. You are the one who chooses to be satisfied or not.
Be satisfied.
Your way of life, like those captured and extraordinary priceless memories, is something you should be thankful for, and for all that we have in our lives, most of all the grace that comes from Him.
